Sometimes we love revisiting old projects to see what we could have done differently. It is a way to step back, reflect, and experience the work with fresh eyes. This time, we returned to the Luzerner Theater project, where we collaborated with Marieke Kums. Coming back as photographers completely changed the way we engaged with the space. Instead of setting up a camera and carefully constructing the perfect shot, we simply walked through the project, letting it guide us.
This process shifts the way we think about architecture visualization. Instead of forcing an image into existence, we allow it to emerge naturally. We stop trying to perfect every detail and start appreciating the beauty in what already exists. It is a different way of working, one that brings a new depth to the way we see and portray architecture.

”There is something special about seeing a space without the pressure of creating a final image. No tweaking, no moving objects, no artificial staging. Just observing what is already there. The light, the materials, the way textures interact, the surrounding elements, the existing vegetation, the weather, the atmosphere. Everything plays a role in shaping the experience, and when you allow yourself to see it as it is, you realize how much is already waiting to be captured.
